Frederick County Rotary Club - Golf Ball Drop

On May 10, 2024, at approximately 6.00 pm, the Rotary Club of Frederick County will host a Golf Ball Drop event. Ticket holders are not required to be physically present at the event in order to be eligible for and receive one of the listed gifts. The recipients of each gift will be publicly announced during the event and will receive notification via phone, using the contact number and email, as provided on the ticket stub. All awarded gifts must be claimed within a period of 30 days from the date on which they were initially awarded. Tickets purchased for the event are non-refundable, and no refunds will be granted for any reason. There is no purchase necessary, and this fundraising is void where prohibited. Neither the Rotary Club of Frederick County, VA, any other promotional sponsors, nor their respective founders, owners, investors, parents, subsidiaries, companies, directors, shareholders, members, employees, representatives, franchisees, service agencies, independent contractors and agents are responsible for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the acceptance or use of any gift. Any gift recipient agrees to defend, indemnity and hold harmless the Rotary Club of Frederick County, VA, any other promotional sponsors and each of their respective founders, owners, investors, parents, subsidiaries, companies, directors,

shareholders, members, employees, representatives, franchisees, service agencies, independent contractors and agents from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the recipient’s acceptance or use of the gift.

All ticket sales will be online. No physical tickets will be sent out. Prizes not claimed within 30 days will become property of Frederick County Rotary Club. To purchase and play, You must be at least 18 years of age. All sales are final. You are solely responsible for ensuring that You have selected the correct Raffle and all options relating to that game, including, but not limited to price of play(s), and numbers played on a play or plays. All sales are final and purchases made in error will not be refunded. We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from any error made by You in the transaction of a raffle purchase.

Taxes: All federal and state income, and sales taxes are the sole responsibility of the Official Winner. The taxable value of the Prize will be treated as ordinary income to the Official Winner for federal and state income tax purposes. A purchaser of Raffle ticket(s) (“Purchaser”) may wish to consult a tax advisor in regard to potential tax liabilities that may arise from purchasing Raffle ticket(s) and being deemed an

Official Winner.
